We provide you with learners in your local area. A large majority of our instructors are able to raise their hourly rates on and off the Midrive platform after partnering with us for only a couple of months. This is great to see in an industry where so many people are undercutting each other to give the cheapest deals.
The Instructor app enables you to focus on your teaching, we handle the rest. No need to worry about managing adverts on Google or Yell.com. All the usual admin such as booking, scheduling, payment, awarding progress, providing notes, is all handled by the Midrive Instructor app.
You will be teaching pupils within your usual coverage areas, you are in control of your business, not us.
Yes, learners can request a start date in advance, you can then call the learner to reschedule the lesson for a more suitable time for you both.
We will send pupils your way as soon as they purchase lessons in your area. You are then free to accept or decline each new learner based on your availability.
Our payments go out 3 times a week. All you need to do is schedule and track the first lesson in the Midrive Instructor app and this will trigger your payment to be included in the next payment batch. Once yourself and the learner confirms that you are happy to continue after the first lesson, the rest of the package is then paid directly into your bank account*. We use an online payment system called ‘Stripe’ which runs on a 7 day rolling payment process.
*This may vary for bookings of 30 and 40 hour bookings.
Learners pay online through the Midrive website, we then transfer the money directly to your account when we see that a lesson has been scheduled in. This means you don’t need to worry about payments. You can focus completely on your teaching! You should also prompt Midrive learners to rebook through the Midrive website.
We do not charge a fee to be a Midrive Partner, we simply take a small percentage of each lesson we send to you, if you agree to take on a learner. Until then, being on our platform, ready to receive pupils is free.
No. We have partner terms of service that help our ADIs provide a top quality experience to our learners, but you will not be required to sign a contract with Midrive.
Yes, it can be run on both iOS and Android.
The Instructor app is very efficient and will only use about the same amount of data as loading 2 or 3 web pages on your web browser. It is the equivalent of around 3MB of data.
