The Instructor app enables you to focus on your teaching, we handle the rest. No need to worry about managing adverts on Google or Yell.com. All the usual admin such as booking, scheduling, payment, awarding progress, providing notes, is all handled by the Midrive Instructor app.
You will be teaching pupils within your usual coverage areas, you are in control of your business, not us.
Yes, of course. You decide when you work and manage your entire schedule via the app.
The app will allow you to tell us when you are and aren't looking for work, so we'll know if you want us to notify you of new work in your area. You are able to use Midrive sourced learners in whatever way suits you best, from filling your empty slots to creating a strong and consistent learner base and anything in between!
How many learners you accept or decline is completely up to you, but we do not offer you a guarantee of new work or pupils per week.
Lessons are paid out as they are scheduled in the app and will go into the next available payment run providing the 48 hour learner cancellation window has been passed.
Midrive does a daily payment run from Monday to Friday. Any payments falling due on a weekend will be paid in the following Monday's batch payment run. The batch payment run is processed at 5pm each day - any lessons becoming due for payment after 5pm will go into the next days batch payment run.
Once the payment run has been processed the funds will appear in your bank account the next morning.
Please ensure you provide us with accurate bank account details and keep them updated within the Instructor app
It’s Sunday 18th November. The Instructor schedules a 2 hour lesson for Wednesday 21st starting at midday. The lesson becomes due for payment as soon as the 48 hour learner cancellation window has been passed- that's Monday 19th November at 12:01. As the lesson was becomes due for payment before 5pm it goes into the same days payment run and will reach the instructors account the next morning.
We're an online platform, so we don't accept cash.
When you accept a learner via the Midrive platform, you agree to adhere to our terms of service which prohibits the acceptance of cash.
All Midrive learners are able to purchase more hours via their Midrive Learner app.
There are no sign-up fees or monthly member fees and the Midrive Instructor app is free to use, forever.
We have a transparent and simple pricing model where we take a fixed percentage of each lesson we send to you, providing you agree to take on a learner.

Yes, you will need to have an iOS or Android device in order to be able to use the Midrive Instructor app.
We do not provide any devices.
The Instructor app is very efficient and will only use about the same amount of data as loading 2 or 3 web pages on your web browser. It is the equivalent of around 3MB of data.
